Homecoming Weekend of Fun

With the Peoples family here, we had a jammed pack weekend of fun. Thursday started out with the boys going golfing while we got some shopping done. Later that afternoon, we headed to the Peach Tree Pumpkin Patch located in Boonville. Megan and I took the kids there last year so we wanted to start a new tradition:) We enjoyed a hay rack ride around the farm and the kids enjoyed feeding the goats and chickens. Sienna just kept yelling "Pumpkins"! We walked around the farm and took lots of pics (still no jumpdrive).

Friday the boys hit the links again and more damage was done at the stores. Sienna needed 2 naps that day and Hudson was in need of a nap so I volunteered to stay home with the kids so Megan and Bayleigh could have some mother/daughter bonding. I did started not to feel well later that afternoon so I stayed home that night from house decks. Apparently the kids lasted through 2 before Joey took them over to the rec field to run off some energy:)

Saturday was GameDay! ESPN GameDay was in Columbia for the BIG game between MU vs OU. We headed down to the Quad around 9:30 to taken in the atmosphere. There are not words to describe the electricity that was on campus that day. There was over 18,000 people that came out to support the Tigers. Joey got us passes backstage and we got to go into the ESPN GameDay bus. It was really cool and we even saw Erin Andrews up close and personal. After GameDay we headed back to Joey's office area where the boys stayed to tailgate and Megan and I took the kids back for lunch and naps. We then headed back around 4:45 to start tailgating. Sienna soaked it all in and loved every second of it. Joey had to work the game but we headed to our seats just in time for the Tigers to run out on the field. Sienna yelled ZOU or TRUMAN the whole time we were there:) At halftime, Megan and I took the younger kids back for bed and Bayleigh stayed with Dwayne. The Tigers ended up winning BIG!!!

Sunday was a day of rest and the Peeps headed back west to Salina. We love when they visit and think they should just move to Columbia:)
