This past Thursday Joey and I headed with the football team to Phoenix for the Arizona State game. It was nice to get away with no child or dog:)
We left Columbia Thursday afternoon and got into Phoenix at about 4:30. Let's just say our landing into Phoenix was a little bumpy or as one person described "we landed with authority". That night Joey and I headed to the Fiesta Bowl office for dinner and then headed back to the hotel to watch opening night for NFL and College football!
Friday we got up early in the morning and went for a run and then off to breakfast. Joey's family came late morning to see us and spend the rest of the day with us. We ate some YUMMY mexican food and headed down to Mill St. Although we did not win the game it was nice to see family and get away for a day or so.
