This past week has been super hectic! Here is a recap of our Ups and Downs:
Ups-
Sienna continues to get closer and closer to walking. Her new trick is to cruise the furniture, let go and walk towards you. She laughs the whole time that she is doing it and thinks she is pretty cool too. She continues to sign for "more" and "all done" when she is eating. We like that she can communicate with us:) Her new favorite word is "hi". She likes to copy anything you say or at least try. Another up this week is that we had our dinner club at our house on Wednesday. We feasted on crab legs, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, and banana splits. We enjoyed the company and Sienna loved to show off for the other little kids.
Downs-
So Sienna had her first high fever this past week. Last Sunday (1/10) Joey called me at work to say that Sienna was not acting herself and was a little warm. He gave her some tylenol but still was not herself. She spent most of that day snuggled up with Dad. Since she still had a fever Sunday night, she was unable to go to daycare on Monday so it was Joey's turn to stay home with her which meant that Joey would have to take his 1st sick day in 8 1/2 years! Sienna slowly started to feel better the next couple of days and was back to normal by Tuesday afternoon. Well this Saturday (1/16) I got home from work and Joey said he was not feeling well. Yesterday I woke up not feeling well either. Joey gave me his bug. I went to work and lasted 1/2 the day before I went back home. The rest of the day was spent in bed and Sienna kept looking at me like hey mom are you ever going to play with me:)
Hopefully this week will be nothing but ups! We head to the doctor tomorrow for her 9 month old check up and then have our parents as teachers on Wednesday. We should have lots of updates:)
