Another month closer to the big "2"!!! We had a month full of snow and lots of family time indoors due to bitterly cold weather. Here is a list of highlights for the month:
- Sienna loves to talk! She continues to build on her vocab everyday. I am simply amazed on how well she talks and how she remembers things.
- LOVES to sing! Loves is not even strong enough to try to explain how much Sienna loves singing and music. She will sing a new song after just one time of hearing it. Her current favorite song is "I like to move it"
- Sienna knows her colors!!! After months of working with her, she finally put the colors and words together and loves to point out colors when she sees them.
- Continues to love to read. We probably read about 6-10 books a day. Recently Sienna likes to be the one who reads you the story even if it is incorrect. We try to still swing by the library to fill our bag every couple of weeks with new books.
- Sienna got her 2nd haircut. The back of her hair was a little bit longer than the rest and she was starting to look a little mullet like so we trimmed the back so it is all one length. She still has the fine baby hair so it is still too thin for a 1 ponytail.
- Clothes wise we are the same this month. She wears 24 month shirts and 18-24 month pants.
- Starting becoming more of a picky eater. She is starting to only eat sweet potatoes as her veggies. I have been sneaking more purees in her food so she does not know:)
- Sleeping wise has been up and down this month. Joey starting making nightly "deals" with her to sleep all night in her own bed and then they shake on it. Well sometimes that works and others not so much. She also got sick with a cold so that did not help that she coughed most of the nights:(
- Loves to play with other kids! She can't wait to play with Jorah and we try to get together as much as possible.
- It is decided- We are having a Mickey/Minnie Mouse birthday party so I can't wait to start finalizing details!!!
I can't think of anything else but we continue to count our blessing for Sienna everyday!
