Happy 6 month birthday Sienna

Sienna turned 6 months today. Wow time has just flown by and I feel like if I blink again she will be all grown up:( I have to say that she has brought so much joy and laughter into our lives and we are thankful for every moment we get with her. Tonight we made her a cake because every 6 month old needs a cake. I let Joey pick out the flavor and he picked strawberry that way her cake was pink:) Here is a list of new things that she can do this month:

• Says "ba" and "da"
• Sits up like a big girl. She has been practicing on sitting up by herself but she has not been able to stay straight for a long time but within the past week or so she can sit up all by herself
• She eats rice cereal, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin, carrots, peas, green beans, and apples so far. She likes them all but the peas. We are still working on those.
• She still takes about 3 naps a day. 2 long ones and then 1 cat nap
• Still not completely sleeping through the night. She usually gets up 1 time to eat and then back to bed
• Has 2 teeth starting to poke through. You can see the white specks on her gums but nothing completely through
• She really likes to grasp things whether they are her toys or even your hair! Whatever she can get her hands on is fair game
• Still rolling over back to front and from the left and right side. She has not perfected the stomach to back roll but she is almost there:)
• Continues to love to cuddle. Sometimes she likes to cuddle up with Mommy for an afternoon nap:)
• This month she has found her feet. Now she will grab her feet with her hands and even tries to stick them in her mouth.
