This week Joey had to head to KC for his Big 12 meeting so Sienna and I tagged along. We left on Tuesday and Joey's meeting started that afternoon. Sienna and I walked/shopped in Crown Center before heading back to the hotel for an afternoon nap. That evening since our hotel was on the Plaza we did a little shopping. The sad thing was that only Sienna got new clothes. We decided to stay on the Plaza for dinner so we headed to PF Chang's for some yummy food. Sienna did great at the restaraunt and even tried some tofu. She really liked it and kept wanting more:) After dinner we headed back to the hotel so Sienna could go to bed.
Wednesday consisted of more meeting for Joey in the morning before we headed to the game. Missouri unfortunately lost so it put quite a downer for the rest of the trip. That night we head to Blanc burgers for burgers and truffle fries. Sienna ate her first grilled cheese and ended up eating a whole 1/2 of one which was really good for her. The food and drinks were super good and we were stuffed.
We decided that Sienna hates her pack'n'play. I don't think that it has enough room in it like her crib but she did not sleep well at all on our trip. Wednesday night (really Thursday morning) she was up from 12:30-3am not wanting to sleep and could not get comfortable. Some had to do with being out of her element and the other with the cold she is fighting. To say the least, the trip was not a restful one:) However, it was good to get out of Columbia for a little bit and hang out just the 3 of us.
