Wow it seems like yesterday that I was just typing out her 12 month old milestones. She continues to be the light of our lives and is just such a happy/silly girl. I love listening to her and Joey play because sometimes you cannot tell who is laughing harder:) Here are some highlights from this past month:)
- Sienna weighed in at her 12 month appointment 20 lbs 8 oz. She was also 29 1/2 inches long. These both put her in the 50% in each category.
- Sienna is a talking machine. She is learning new words everyday and tries to say everything that she hears. Her new words this month include: please, love you, thank you, baby, Abby (which is our friend's little ones name), bye, booty (thanks to Joey), puppy, and bottle.
- Walks all over the place. She actually started to trot a little. It is not quite a run but it is definitely more than a walk.
- Loves to go outside! We try to go outside everyday for a walk especially in her new cozy coope.
- Loves animals! She will walk around all day long with her stuffed animals acting like they are her babies. She can tell you the noises of a puppy, monkey, tiger, cow, lamb, and horse.
- Weaned herself from nursing this past month. I made it until May 11 and then Sienna was done. We are still using the frozen breastmilk and have introduced cow's milk to her. She still takes 4 bottles a day for about 20-24 oz total.
- Loving real people's food. She will eat just about anything we put in front of her. Sometimes she is not a veggie fan though:)
- Sleeps through the night. She occasionally will wake up but puts herself back to sleep easily. She usually wakes up between 6:30-7:30 for me but will sleep until 8 on the weekend for Joey:)
- Loves watching athletic events. This spring we have introduced her to a lot of MU sports. She enjoys watching baseball and softball. She plays at home with her golf set often and it is funny to watch both Sienna and Joey have their clubs out at the same time.
