This past week Sienna and I headed west for the week. Bayleigh graduated from grade school and of course it was my Mom's birth week! Tuesday we hit the road early after having breakfast with Joey. Sienna tolerated the 4 1/2 hour ride very well with only 1 stop 1/2 way into the trip. That night was Bayleigh's graduation and it was special to see her reach another milestone. It just seems like it was yesterday that I was driving to Salina from Hays waiting for her to be born:(
The real question was how was Hudson going to react to Sienna. In the past he will tolerate her from far away but usually does not like her up close. Well times have changed. He seemed to like her more this time and then even played golf together. There were a couple times that they were a little competitive but shared nicely. Sienna is funny around Bayleigh and Hudson because she so wants to be big and do everything that they are doing and forgets that she is still little. The best part was that everynight all three would jump into Megan and Dwayne's bed and just laugh and laugh. It was like it was their nightly routine and then everyone would go to bed. I can't wait to see them continue to grow:)
The rest of the trip consisted of helping with Mom's preschool graduation, celebrating Mom's birth week and waiting for the rain to stop. It rained the whole time we were there so no trip to the zoo or any fun outside
activities:(
Sienna did not like the ride back as well and there were several stops and it seemed to take forever to get home. We did eventually make it back and Joey was happy to have his girls at home!
