Happy 14 month Birthday Sienna

Sienna turned 14 months while we were in Salt Lake City. She continues to grow like a weed and we are very excited to see how much she weighs/length at her next visit. For her 14 month, we did not do too much. Joey had meeting starting at 2 that day so we took a walk downtown. We headed to the Temple square. At the square, there was some really amazing temples and their flowers were all in bloom so there were flowers everywhere. We headed to a pizza and gelato restaurant. We feasted on some yummy homemade pizza and then treated ourselves to some gelato to celebrate the occasion. Sienna was so good all day long and once again we just can't get enough of her!

Here is what she is doing this month:

• We should start calling her repeat. She is repeating everything that we are saying. People are so amazed by her vocabulary at this age but we love to hear her say new words. She talks up a storm and now even will get close to your face when she is saying something important. She will even repeat a commercial from TV if she hears something over again. Her favorite now is to say "Wow low price" from the staples commercial.
• She really likes her binkey for some reason. She quit nursing on her 13 month birthday and ever since then she always wants her binkey. She never used to be this way and would only use it to go to bed but now she wants it every chance she can get. I hope within the next month or 2 to break this habit:)
• I know it is bad to say but she still takes a bottle. We have limited them to 2/3 a day but I still am having a hard time getting her to take milk out of a cup. She will take a drink here and there but it is never consist. Another thing to break within the next month:) Fun times are ahead!
• Still sleeping well. She takes 2 naps a day and they are anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hours. She usually naps from 9:30/10-12 and then from 2:30/3-5. She then heads down for the night between 8-8:30. She will then wake between 7-7:30 but if we are lucky she sometimes sleeps until 8!
• Eating everything in sight. She goes through a funk every once in awhile where she does not like a food that she liked the day before but Joey figured out that if you dip it in ketchup she will eat anything! He tries to count it as a vegetable but that does not fly with me:)
• Sienna is almost running now. When she gets really excited, she walks so fast it looks like she is trying to run but it comes out as more of a trot. It is funny to see her little legs try to move!

I am sure that I left some stuff out but all in all she continues to be the apple of our eye!
