We headed to KC this week. Joey had his annual Big 12 meetings so Sienna and I tagged along. Our mission was to get some shopping done for Sienna's birthday and also to relax.
Tuesday we left in the morning from Columbia and got here in time for lunch and to drop Joey off at his meetings. Sienna and I then went back to the hotel so she could nap. After she woke up we headed to the Crown Center where we shopped at the Crayola store and watched the candy man make fudge. Sienna got an Easter present during this spree before we went and picked up Joey from his meetings. We then went to the Plaza and ate at Blanc burgers. Sienna was super good and also has super hungry because she ate all of her noodles! After dinner, we all crashed back at the hotel.
Wednesday Joey had meetings from 8-12:30 so Sienna and I got up and moving. We ate breakfast before heading to the Oak Park Mall. This mall has a Disney store in it so I was sure that we could find something for Sienna's birthday. She did pick up a few things before we had to pick up Joey. We headed to Ponak's for lunch before we all took well needed naps! The game was not until 8:30 so we headed down to the Power and Light district to grab a bite to eat before the game. We actually met up with an old FHSU baseball teammate of Joey at the game and sat in their suite for the game. It was perfect Sienna was able to run around and also watch the game while snacking. Sienna was a trooper for the game and crashed on the way back to the hotel.
The Tigers play again tonight at 8:30 so it might be a long night again but well worth it!
