Well another recruiting season is behind us for at least the 2009 class:) Yesterday was national signing day for college football so all those recruits that Joey has been meeting with every weekend made their big decision if they are heading to Mizzou! Overall Mizzou had another great recruiting class this year and we were even pleasantly surprised by a few that chose Mizzou at the last moment.
I had class yesterday but Joey attended the press conference in the afternoon and then we were invited to a recruiting reception at Chris McD's. This is an annual reception given to the coaches and support staff by a few donors and it is always really nice and we feast on really good food! We had lots of fun but I was pretty wore out by the end of the night.
We will have to see in the seasons to come just how good this recruiting class becomes:)
