Well last night we had our last lamaze class. There is technically one more next week but we are attending the Eagles concert and will not be able to make it:)
Last night we learned about interventions used during labor. We played this game about what interventions that we would want to have and ones that we would not. Then the teacher said of the ones we wanted to have we gradually had to take away 3 at a time. You ended up with 2 cards left by the end of the exercise and my interventions that are a must are: epidural and healthy baby. Everyone had healthy baby but I was surprised about the 2nd choice. It was interesting to see who had what. We also talked about c-sections and the recovery periods for both types of deliveries. Our teacher suggested that the Dads get ready to be responsible for laundry, housework, and even food. Some dads looked scared but we know Joey will do great with these "chores".
Nothing too exciting and Joey did not have any funny things to say during this class. We are both happy that we took the class and now it is just a waiting period until Sienna arrives:)
